Real Estate Consultant/Broker Moving to Salina has been life-changing for Todd. After growing up in Northglenn, Colorado, Todd moved to Salina in 1990. It was at that time he met his wife Pam, and started getting involved in the community. “I wanted to meet as many people as possible when I moved here. It seemed like such a friendly place that you just couldn't help but want to get involved”. In 1995 Todd found himself working in real estate for a national real estate franchise. After nine years of success, Todd decided there was a better way – not just a better way to buy and sell homes, but a better way to treat the client. “I didn't want just a transaction. I wanted to develop deep relationships with my clients”. In 2005, Welsh created his own real estate company, SalinaHomes.com Real Estate Consultants, where agents are trained as consultants, not salespeople. The SalinaHomes.com philosophy is “Families helping families”. Todd and Pam have two children, McKenzie and Rase. Todd's community involvement includes being former President of the Central Kansas Girls Scouts, committee member of Salina Downtown, Inc., volunteer for the local March of Dimes and former President of the USBL basketball team the Kansas Cagerz. "If you are locating to Salina , I would love the opportunity to show you this great town and all it has to offer". |

My Goal: “Happily Ever After” when finding your “Home Sweet Home” Judi is a Kansas native and grew up in a small town in western Kansas on the farm. The youngest of eight children, Judi learned fast how to get a job done by prioritizing each job and seeing it through…WHATEVER it took. The only difference between then and now is the years of experience and the path of life Judi has chosen. While still in college at Kansas State University, Judi met Jim on a blind date and got married in 1992. Judi transferred to and graduated from Bethany College and walked across the stage in 1994 expecting their first child, Vyctorya. Next came Kynedi in 1996…then Mykenzi in 1998…and finally Hunter in 2000. Until their kids all went to school all day long, Judi stayed home with them. While at home for the past 16 years, Judi has worn many hats…wife, mother, bookkeeper, grain marketer, combine/tractor/truck driver, and started Appel Photography, her “hobby” business. All that experience can start working for you…No matter what factors influence buying a home, a buyer wants to pay the least price possible. On the flip side, a seller wants the best price possible for his home. That’s where Judi comes in. Whether you are buying or selling, Judi will consult with you about your goals, negotiate the best price on your behalf, and then oversee every detail to make sure every “t” is crossed and every “i” is dotted. My Success: The Golden Rule! Live by it and everything else will fall into place. Let’s start the journey of buying or selling together…and find your “Happily Ever After” when finding your “Home Sweet Home” I’m just a phone call or click away! |

Kimberley and her family made the big move to Salina in 1995 and haven't looked back since. “I came from Oklahoma City and didn't have a real personal feeling there like I do here. I can run to the store or go to a school function and see five or more people that just stop and chat. That doesn't happen in the bigger cities”. Kimberley has been a REALTOR since 1999 and her family consists of 2 daughters, Haley and Kinsey, and 1 son, Jett. She is married to Brent who is a Captain at the Salina Fire Department. They have settled in nicely to this family-style community and this gives Kimberley an edge when it comes to helping buyers and sellers in the community “I have been both a buyer and a seller and understand what the public wants. I have a core belief that most people want to be listened to and given their options so they are in control of the transaction. Not just a salesperson to tell them what to do”. Kimberley is active in her daughter's schools. “I pride myself on going the extra mile with my clients. I would like them to consider me more of a friend than just their consultant when all of the business is said and done”. |

After traveling extensively for the past 35 years in the U.S., Central and South America on commercial construction and historic preservation projects as a project manager / owner’s representative Rick and his wife of 33 years, Jan, thought it was time to slow down. In 2001 they moved back to Salina where they had been married and their children, Jenifer and Mike were born. In 1998 Rick received the Idaho Governors “Take Pride in Idaho” Outstanding Historic Preservation Award and the Idaho Historic Preservation Council “Orchid Award” for Restoration of a Historic Building. Rick also led the effort to create a historic district and get the building listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings. Shortly after returning to Salina, Rick managed the electrical renovation of the “Old Fox Theater” project, now the Stiefel Theater. Wanting to stay in a less physical form of Real Estate, Rick received his Real Estate license in January 2005. His background in construction has been a big help to Rick and his clients when dealing with issues involving contractors, inspectors, the city with its many departments, and lenders with their many options of financing. You need someone who will help you with the entire process of buying a home to make the experience enjoyable not like a visit to a “used car dealer”. I want to give you all the information required so you feel like YOU made the right decision after you have lived in your new home for a few years. |

My family and I moved to Salina in 1995, but I am a Midwest native, with a strong Midwestern work ethic. I have spent the last ten years being an at-home-mom. A few years ago, my husband and I got involved in investment properties. We were clients of Salinahomes.com, both buying and selling properties with them since the company's inception. When I decided to get my Realtors license, I knew that Salinahomes.com was the company I wanted to work with. Through my past work experience, which includes working for a title company, and my experience buying and selling homes (both personally and in the investment field), I understand the process and know how stressful it can be. I will strive to make your experience, whether you are buying or selling a home, as pleasant and stress-free as possible. My family includes my husband of almost 20 years, Joe, who works for Great Plains, Mfg. here in Salina. Our children are; Jake, who is a student at Salina Central, and Ben, who is at Meadowlark. With their various activities, the boys keep us busy. I am an active in my church, and serve on the Youth Board there. Being a wife and mother, coordinating everyone's schedules, and past work experience, has given me a dedication to details that will help in assisting buyers and sellers in a smooth transaction. For me, going above and beyond is normal.

Real Estate Consultant After being in the pharmaceutical industry for 25 years, Ken was given the opportunity for early retirement and jumped at the chance. This opened the door for him to pursue other avenues and real estate has always been one that interested him. Having lived in Salina and raising three daughters here, he has always liked the hometown feeling Salina offers. " Salina is a great place to raise children. The schools are very good and the close-knit community provides a safe city for them to grow up in. I'm thrilled to have most of my grandchildren growing up here in Salina , just like my children did". Ken enjoys taking the time with his clients to find just the right home they are looking for. Kansas has always been 'home' to Vicki. After high school graduation from a small central Kansas town, Salina became her choice to continue education and to begin a career and family. Vicki and her husband, Ed, made a move to Phoenix, AZ, for six years; but the desire to return to Kansas and 'home' was too great to ignore. Vicki began her real estate career in Arizona, and the experiences of learning the business in the large market area were invaluable lessons. After returning to the Salina area, Vicki has worked the past ten years in the business office role of the real estate industry. "But I miss the personal contact with the consumers, and would once again like the opportunity to be a consultant with you for your real estate needs." Vicki and Ed are cultivating their fascination with antiques by restoring a nearly 100 year old, one-room schoolhouse just south of the City of Minneapolis, into their home and filling it with great 'treasures'. "Of course, our greatest treasures are our children, grandchildren and friends. We enjoy having our Church family and friends together at our home for a turkey fry/hay rack ride or a July 4th picnic. And I would love to help you find the perfect place to create your memories." ^ top< back |

It is my personal goal to make “LIFE LONG CLIENTS”, not just another sale. I LOVE REFERRALS! I am a native of Salina, Kansas and a Salina South High School graduate. Truly believing we live in an outstanding area gives me many reasons to brag about the benefits of life here in the great Mid-West. A native of Kansas, and long-term resident of Salina, Joan Wilson has her broker/salesperson license. Since beginning her real estate career in 1968, Joan has dedicated herself to serving her clients and promises: “Professionalism with results!” She holds various designations and professional certifications: CRS (certified real estate specialist), GRI (graduate realtor institute), and SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist). Joan is a member of NAR (National Association of Realtors), KAR (Kansas Association of Realtors), and Salina’s local MLS (Multiple Listing Service). Soon after achieving her broker’s license, Joan challenged local industry standards when she bought and developed the first real estate franchise in Salina, and incorporated a professional training program for her agents. Her sales and office size grew. Times grew tough …Home loan interest rates skyrocketed to 18%, sometimes more. Even with historically high interest rates, often there was no money to loan. Sales threatened, and the market soft, Joan proved her ability again. Experience, market knowledge, training, and tenacity got results. She was recognized in sales and training when her Salina office outpaced the nation-wide franchise’s larger offices (larger cities with bigger home values) and was named 7th in gross sales for the 4-State Region. Joan raised her personal experience and achievements bar another notch in 1987 when she moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, and enjoyed a successful career working with American and International clients in both residential and commercial sales. She was selected for the sales team of Honolulu’s newest high-rise: One Kalakaua Senior Living, and worked the project from the ground up. Living and working in Hawaii was wonderful! There was something new to learn every day and every transaction. However, friendships and family ties pulled, and Joan returned, appreciating all Salina and coming home has to offer. As their full-time consultant in real estate, Joan is committed to her buyers and sellers, and delivers honesty, integrity, and professionalism in every transaction. Experience matters! Call Joan, 785-822-2002 for your real estate needs!
